Dubai: After a flourish of pastels onto paper and heavily smudged hands, my work was done. I hadn’t done much artwork since my last post. It’s all about embracing the dryness and wetness of the cycle of creativity.

But as a result of finishing this artwork today, I found myself putting together two pieces of jewelry that remained unfinished for quite a few months. I struggled to get the wire work done a few months ago and so left the unfinished jewelry pieces, till they were resurrected today.

It is interesting that the focal point of the artwork seems to resemble the pendant that is used in the simple wire work piece. As for the yellow piece of jewelry with agate, I managed to finally figure out what the end product would look like. So it is now a 3 tiered piece of work.

And they will both be on display this coming ARTE souk, Times Square Centre (9th March 2012) from 12pm to 7pm.
